Chapter 4
Chapter 4Tristin’s first day of class turned out to be the most tiring day of her entire life. She never expected that her professors will instantly introduce them to their lessons. What she hated most is that some of her professors already handed out surprise examinations. She realized that she was not mentally and emotionally prepared for college. She presumed that college will be a tormenting stage of her life. And she is hoping she will be able to get of it. Very quickly. Tristin pondered if other universities were also like this. She figured that since the university needed higher IQ from the students, the students should prove to the university that they deserve their IQs and being able to study in a prestigious college. She regretted that she didn’t have any other options in college. She should’ve tried in other universities. It might be easier compared to where she is now. Their curriculum might be even lighter compared to theirs. She felt a rush of disappointment running through her veins and wanted to cry. She wanted to pour down all her frustrations and sufferings in her tears and try to live anew. But aside from the drastic experiences she had on her first day, Tristin gathered that the guy whom she has known when she arrived in the campus was Christian Roux. He is a freshman like herself. He arrived two weeks earlier than she is, she heard. He immediately became a catch in the university because of his manly physique, his strange but identifiable accent, and he, being French. He was also popular with the ladies because of his remarkable wisdom and vast knowledge of various subjects and issues. Tristin ignored all the things she heard about Christian. Knowing him would not help her pass College. He might be popular, but he is definitely not her type. Or because he is not Chris. Tristin decided to go to the library and study. She has a lot of things to catch up. Thinking of Christian, and also Chris, won’t help her solve her problems. There are more important things in life she needed to focus to. And gathering facts and rumors about Christian would not assist her in easing her burden. Tristin went to her room to leave the things she does not need and brought her laptop and a couple of books and notebooks. She also took a drink from the vending machine and bought a sandwich in the nearby café. After buying and eating, she went to the library to study and do a couple of home works. Will be uploading Chapter 5 within this week. Not in the mood to post. Labels: Chapter 4, Summer to Remember
