Epilogue
Chris and Tristin were walking over the field with hands clasped tightly. They were engaged and will be married two months from now. Everything Chris wanted happened. Every dreams of Tristin’s came true. Chris ran and pulled Tristin with him and hid under the grassy field. “Shh.” Chris said to Tristin. Tristin stared at him curiously and asked, “What’s wrong?” “I am hiding from my mother.” Chris looked at her with playful eyes. Tristin smiled and kept quiet. Chris covered her mouth with his hands and looked at her intently. When Chris removed his hands a couple of minutes after, Tristin asked, “Why are you hiding from your mother?” Chris smiled mockingly and replied, “So I can kiss you.” He swooped down and kissed her. Sad to say the story meet its end. So, thanks for reading and for the support. Another story is coming up. And I hope you would enjoy it too, like you had in Summer to Remember. THANKS! Chapter 21
Tristin arrived at her grandparent’s house around 11 in the morning. She told that she would like to go for a walk and visit the fields. It has been long since Tristin strolled around the field. She already has moved on her life. She forgot about Chris after their last meeting in the university. It took courage for Tristin to go back here and see these wondrous sights full of memories back then. It tormented her but still she should face the reality and accepting one’s past is part of it. Tristin went to the hill where Chris made a swing for her. There was a man sitting there. Rugged and Filthy. She walked towards him and asked, “Excuse me, are you alright?” Chris’s face stared up at her and she gasped. “Oh my gosh Chris! Are you alright?” She put her hand his face and touched it. “Tri, is he really your boyfriend?” “Who?” Tristin asked him. “That guy from the library.” Tristin looked at him and laughed. “What is so funny?” Chris asked angrily. “Nothing. Anyway, I broke up with him when I realized I liked you.” Chris smiled. “Why are you smiling?” Tristin asked curiously. “You said you like me.” “I said I liked you.” She said stressing the d at the end of the word. “Oh, liked. Sorry.” Chris stood up and started to walk. “But we can make like if you want to.” Tristin said. Seeing Chris is everything she wanted. She fell in love with him all over again. She ran towards him and embraced him. She turned his head to face her; she tiptoed and kissed her arduously. Chris stared at her after the kiss, and he wanted more so he kissed her again. When Chris pulled away from Tristin he whispered huskily, “I guess we are really meant to be.” Labels: Chapter 21, Summer to Remember

Chapter 20
Chris signed the deal with Mr. Collins the next day and left the country. He wanted to escape the country so much because he cannot erase the love he has for Tristin. And as of the moment, Tristin’s laugh is still echoing in his mind and her smiles are still vivid images that he could picture out. Chris arrived around 5 in the morning in France. He decided that to erase Tristin’s memories, he needed to go back to the place where they first met. He will recollect each moment they spent together and when he’s done recollecting, he will forget all about it and move on. At least once in his life, he gave appreciation to each memory he had with Tristin. Chris went to the bus terminal and went to one of the buses. The moment he sat, he fell asleep immediately. He woke up and realized that he has arrived already. He took off from the bus and went to house where he used to live every summer. Each corner of the house reminds him of Tristin and it hurts him terribly. The whole day, he just browsed the photos he had with her and the places they used to go. Chris went to the town to eat dinner. He was exhausted that day and he felt miserably lonely. He thought this would help him but it looks as if it just worsens the problem. After eating, he bought six glasses of beer and brought it home. When he arrived, he opened the bottle of beer and drunk it. His mind was still full of Tristin and he cannot put it out. He hated it and he hated himself for loving her infatuatedly. He got drunk after drinking three glasses and he dozed off. He just slept at the couch. Chris spent one year in the house and he looked filthy. His clothes were dirty and his face was unshaven. He looked rugged and needed a shower. He was always drunk and his eyes are dried out of tears. Chris decided to go back to the city and go back to his life, but there is one place he didn’t visit yet, and it is the most memorable place. The swing. Chris walked to the hill and found the swing still good and well kept. He sat and played with it. He is drunk, filthy and undeniably still in love with Tristin. He can no longer stop himself and he cried so hard while sitting on it. He was sitting on the swing for two hours already and still, he couldn’t get over her. He sat there until he is ready to move on with his life. Labels: Chapter 20, Summer to Remember
