The Cornwall Mansion was flooded with guests all over the estate, and the country, as well. The Duke of Cornwall invited many guest and all his allies and acquaintances. The Evening Ball was a success, even if it hasn’t started yet. The music played when there were many guests standing by the dance hall.

The Duke came out first and greeted them. Stephen followed and helped the Duke in greeting the guests. Together with Stephen was Mary who was entertaining the visitors with her playing the piano. The Prince came down and he became the center of attention.

Everybody knew the Prince. There were many whispers, and the music stopped as the Prince was coming towards the Duke and Stephen. The Duke gathered that the attention of his visitors were on the Prince. He motioned the Prince towards him and greeted him. “Good Evening, too, your grace.” The Duke smiled and Stephen greeted his cousin. Sebastian and Stephen helped the Duke in entertaining and greeting their guests.

Marie went down of the stairs and the men were gaping at her. She wore cobalt blue chiffon gown. Her gown perfectly fitted the right contours of her body. Her royal blue eyes gleamed like sapphire stones. Her cheeks were pink and her lips were pouting perfectly. Sebastian motioned towards the stairs and offered his hand. Marie slowly walked down the stairs and accepted the hand of the Prince.

“What are you doing?” Marie whispered with a pretend smile on her face. “I am a gentleman.” The Prince jested. Marie snorted. The Prince smiled at her, and she replied him with smile, too. The Prince walked her towards her father.

“Good evening, Father.” Marie greeted and bowed. “Good evening. You look very pretty.” “Thank you.” Marie replied and blushed. The Prince was charmed by Marie’s amiable smile and her flushed cheeks. She looked so beautiful. Sebastian asked her to be his first dance and she gladly accepted it.

Sebastian led Marie to the dance hall where many guests were watching them. They are the center of attraction. The whispers say that they are a perfect couple, a Prince and an heir Duchess. Marie smiled at him awkwardly. Sebastian realized that Marie is not used with the attention that the visitors are giving her. He gave her an assuring smile and he whispered, “Do not mind them.”

The eyes of the guests were on the Prince and Marie. They looked magnificent while dancing. Their bodies fit perfectly and their eyes were locked with each other. There movements were graceful and their stature is refined. The guest admired the couple and when the music ended, they applauded. The Prince bowed to them and led Marie to the porch.
